My hope of this email is to get several of you signed up for the One-Day Retreat in August at RCCW. The women there really miss all of you! The plan for the One-Day Retreat is to go in Friday night (August 15th) from 6-8p and then have the One-Day Retreat from 8am - 7pm on Saturday (August 16th).
In the past, any volunteer could come into RCCW one time during the year without a valid Blue Card. We are in the process of confirming that this still holds true for the 2008. In the meantime, I thought I could at least propose that if you were to come in once this year to RCCW, that the One-Day Retreat in August would be a good choice! I'll let you know as soon as I know that rule still applies!
The Chaplain and Miea Walker (Inside Leader) are going to go through and pick out the events that they would like to see for the One-Day Retreat and then we will meet and discuss what is doable. We will need food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), so if anyone is willing to step up for the day, that would be greatly appreciated. I can only guess at this point how many women will be attending but my best estimation, it would be around 40, with at least 10-12 Kairos volunteers. I will need to have all names to me by Friday, August 15th.
For your information, we go in every second Saturday of the month to RCCW and will no longer be bringing in food except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

RCCW - Saturday, July 12th: (5pm-7pm) Monthly Reunion (Foot washing)
RCCW - Friday, August 15th (6-8pm) and Saturday August 16th (8am-7pm): *One Day Retreat*
